Sharing is Caring
As part of an on-going community-based initiative in
nurturing a caring society, Takaful Malaysia always steps
forward to offer monetary contributions to needy families, |
communities and school children. Towards this end, the
company distributed a total of RM168,200 to selected
deserving recipients within the community including
underprivileged students, orphans and individuals who
were affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Paving the Way for a Sustainable Future
Caring for Underprivileged Children
Takaful Malaysia visited Rumah Perlindungan Teratak Nur Insan
(“Rumah Nuri”) which houses about 100 underprivileged children
from various backgrounds. Through its charity fund, the company 113
provided financial assistance to Rumah Nuri amounting to
RM10,000 to accommodate the monthly expenses needed for
the home’s day-to-day operations and the children’s needs which
included school, medical, and other related expenses.

Donation towards the COVID-19 Fund
Takaful Malaysia contributed a sum of RM50,000 towards
the COVID-19 Fund organised by the Ministry of Health
(“MOH”) in the face of the outbreak in the country. The Additional Information & Disclosure Summary
financial assistance provided via Takaful Malaysia’s charity
fund was utilised for the purchase of medical necessities
to ease the shortage of medical supplies faced by
government hospitals designated to provide screening and
treatment for COVID-19 patients. |
