Regulatory Awareness and Trainings • Conducted training on the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in August 2024, focusing on the implementation and operationalisation of the privacy notice for Business and Support Units. • Designed and implemented the Foreign Exchange Policy (FEP) awareness programme in Q4 2024 to cultivate a strong compliance culture for FEP within the Group. • Organised Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) briefing sessions and stakeholder engagements in August 2024 to increase awareness of ESG issues and provide insights into ESG risk assessment. Additionally, ESG briefings conducted for Outsourced Service Providers (OSPs) during annual and renewal site visits, outlining the Group’s ESG compliance expectations and assessment criteria. • Launched the first RCD Quiz in May 2024 to educate participants on regulatory topics in a fun and interactive format. • Held a Control Room awareness programme in Q1 2024 for employees identified as “insiders.” The programme highlighted the importance of safeguarding material non-public information (MNPI) and price-sensitive information (PSI), promoting ethical practices and regulatory compliance. AML/CFT, Regulatory & Integrity Awareness and Trainings • Conducted regular training sessions on AML/CFT, integrity, and regulatory compliance, including in-house programs, external engagements (virtual and in-person), and collaborative sharing sessions with students, government officials, the International Bank Association, universities like UM, enforcement agencies, and others. • Organised 36 external webinars and virtual sessions to broaden staff knowledge. • Delivered 68 refresher courses and specialised training programs across the Bank, subsidiaries, and business associates. • Hosted seven (7) Speaker Series sessions and six (6) interactive Coffee with Compliance discussions. • Conducted 13 additional events, such as a visit from the Azerbaijan Banks Association, visits from IIUM and UITM students, and the Group’s Compliance Game Show, among others. Learning Materials and Publications • Issued various learning and awareness materials, including 20 Communiqués, targeting all staff across branches and business units. These materials covered topics such as Compliance, AML/CFT, Ethics, and Integrity, helping to enhance staff knowledge and foster a compliance-driven culture.
