Coursera Online Course and Professional Certifications Objective • Widen employee access to e-learning, thus enabling them to acquire certifications and micro-credentials in skillsets relevant to their roles, while fostering a self-driven learning culture across the organisation. What We Did in 2024 • Launched our bank-wide Coursera e-learning platform, initially piloted with 2,000 licenses for employees at manager level and above. • The platform offers courses and certifications focused on digital upskilling, leadership, and people-management capabilities from globally recognised academic institutions and training providers. Outcomes and Results • 1,033 staff members enrolled and commenced their learning journey on Coursera. • 649 programme modules and customised learning paths successfully completed, with an outstanding average rating of 4.8 out of 5. • 4,026 learning hours completed on the platform, reflecting high levels of engagement and dedication. • 95 learners achieved top proficiency levels (intermediate/advanced) in business, computer science, and data science. Professional Certification Programmes Objective • Empower employees at all levels with specialised knowledge and competencies, in line with industry-recognised and global standards. What We Did in 2024 • Offered a range of professional certification programmes tailored to diverse job roles, including: • CIIF-related certifications for leadership and industry-specific expertise. • IBFIM certifications in Islamic finance. • Upward Mobility Certification Programme (UMCP), rebranded as the BEST Professional Certification Programme. • International leadership programmes, such as the Cambridge Senior Management Programme and the INSEAD Executive Leadership Programme. • Certified Professional Shariah Auditor Programme to enhance governance capabilities. • Professional Certificate in Compliance Practices, in collaboration with Universiti Malaya (UM). Outcomes and Results CIIF-Related Certifications • 10 staff members across various job levels enrolled and certified in 2024. • All C-level executives certified, with four receiving certifications in 2024. IBFIM-Related Certifications • 104 staff members currently hold Associate, Intermediate, or Certified Islamic Finance Qualifications. BEST Professional Certification Programme • 40 clerical staff from Cohort 2 graduated in March 2024. • 38 clerical staff from Cohort 1 graduated in May 2023. • 40 clerical staff enrolled in Cohort 3 starting December 2024. Cambridge Senior Management Programme • 1 C-level executive and 2 Middle Management staff participated in 2024. Certified Professional Shariah Auditor • 1 staff member successfully certified. Professional Certificate in Compliance Practices • 297 enrolled in the 2024 programme and will complete the course in 2025.
