Bank Islam Integrated Annual Report 2024

TALENT AND DEVELOPMENT We recognise the vital role that human capital plays in achieving our potential as an organisation. By investing in upskilling and reskilling programmes across our workforce, we equip ourselves to navigate evolving industry challenges, implement our strategies, and deliver shared value for our stakeholders. Our training and development strategy is two-pronged. Firstly, we cultivate talent to assume roles of greater responsibility and maintain a strong pipeline of future leaders across Group Management Executive Committee (GMEC) and non-GMEC positions, delivering training that builds vital competencies and soft skills. Secondly, we strive to deepen expertise in sustainability across the organisation through our Sustainability Learning Framework, with the objective of integrating sustainability into the fabric of our day-to-day operations.
