SPIRITUAL WELLNESS Kerja Sebagai Ibadah Programmes Islamic Educational and Spiritual Development Series Objective • Instill the principle of Kerja Sebagai Ibadah (Work as Worship) among employees and foster a deeper connection between work and worship as complementary aspects of life. What We Did in 2024 • Conducted an educational and webinar series emphasising good principles for transforming work into worship, applicable to all employees regardless of faith. • Integrated the element of spiritual wellness into our Middle Management Leadership Development Programme, where all mid-level staff in the Work to Worship course series. • Focused on aligning professional roles with Islamic values to create a workplace embodying Sakinah (peace and tranquillity). • Targeted 500 mid-level staff across the bank, with the programme continuing into 2025. • Hosted key webinars: • Introduction Webinar in January with 684 participants. • Ramadan Webinar Series in April with 1,489 participants. • Kemampanan Dari Perspektif Al-Quran in October with 279 participants. Outcomes and Results • Empowered employees to integrate values of worship into their daily work practices, contributing to a more supportive and harmonious workplace environment. Objective • Deepen employees’ understanding of Islamic principles and their application in the workplace through educational webinars and discussions. What We Did in 2024 • Regularly organise Spiritual Talk Series on weekly basis that covers a wide range of topics, including Islamic principles, Shariah law, and spiritual development. • Conducted Shariah online training as a refresher course for staff on Islamic finance and banking. • Hosted the following impactful talk series: • Kerja Sebagai Ibadah webinar series. • Bicara SSC 2024 on Syariah Sebagai Paksi Kewangan Islam, with 743 participants, and Fiqh Zakat Pelaburan (both virtual). • Bicara Murobbi, a virtual educational webinar conducted in collaboration with Surau Wakaf Ahmad Dawjee Dadabhoy (SWADD). • Kuliah Zohor Perdana, monthly physical talks held before Zohor prayers at SWADD. • Sisterhood Series for Muslimat, weekly hybrid sessions tailored for Muslim women, with physical gatherings at BITIZone@L10, MBI. • Majlis Bacaan Yasin and Tazkirah (monthly, virtual).
