OUR FTSE4GOOD SCORE Between 2021 and 2024, we have made consistent progress in our FTSE4Good rating, demonstrating our dedication improving our practices across the ESG spectrum. SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Sustainability remains the core driver of the products and solutions we create. We highlight several solutions that incorporate sustainable practices, as below: ASB Financing-i • Empowers individuals to build disciplined savings habits and longterm wealth through systematic investments in Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) funds. • Offers affordable financing rates and a simple application process, making it an accessible and attractive option for retail customers. Ar-Rahnu • An accessible short-term financing solution that allows individuals to pledge gold as collateral. • Allows customers to retain ownership of their gold while benefiting from its monetary value. • Offers immediate liquidity without high profit rates or unethical lending practices. • SME Banking is committed to supporting Malaysian small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on their sustainability journey. • While no new sustainability-focused products were launched in FY2024, the division is actively developing awareness and capacity-building programmes to help SMEs overcome challenges in adapting their business to become more sustainable and unlock green financing opportunities. • In the meantime, SME Banking’s existing products – SME SMART Eco Financing Programme-i (ECO) and the Low Carbon Transition Facility (LCTF) – continue to provide valuable support for businesses undertaking sustainable transitions. 2.5 2021 3.3 2023 3.3 2022 3.5 2024 Clarification: Ratings are based on the previous fiscal year's performance; thus, a 3.5 rating for 2024 is based on FY2023 data, including public disclosures.
